Rubber is a slang term for a condom, and there is a good reason this word was used. For men, wearing a condom during sex feels like wearing a thick piece of winter tire, or five raincoats at the same time, over the head of our penis. It is no coincidence that rubber became the slang word, instead of something that implied a good sensation, like “veil” or “silk.” Even the technical definition explains itself, being called a “barrier device” used during sex. Seriously, a barrier device? Like a brick wall or cement dam? It sounds like the wall of sandbags used to keep Hitler out of Poland. That’s what men are wrapping over the head of their penis during sexual intercourse, and it’s absolutely unjustifiable.
There are a lot of people who argue that condoms are perfectly normal, and an advantageous way to prevent against STD’s and pregnancy, simply because they are cheap and have no side effects. They argue that condoms of some sort have been used for over 400 years. Well, slavery was accepted for over 400 years too, but it doesn’t make it ok. It is rare that anyone at orgasm.com would side with Catholicism, but I think the Catholics have it right this time, condoms are completely unacceptable.
