Role play is when you act out a sexual scenario or fantasy with a partner. It is great to spice up a sexual relationship with some role play. All you need is a little imagination, and a lot of lubrication.
Almost everyone that has had sex with a partner over a long period of time will just naturally incorporate some role play. Even if it just involves the woman wearing a uniform of some sort (cheerleader, nurse, etc.) that is role play. Obviously, if a couple wanted to really engage in some detailed role play, then more planning and thought would have to be put into it.
Some common role play scenarios that people engage in include: prison play (where one person is the prisoner, and the other a person with power over them), age play (where the participants act as though they were different ages), cosplay (where the participants wear costumes and act like superheroes, animals, robots, etc.), and gender play (where they act as a different gender).
Role play can be as simple as going to a bar with your lover, and then acting as though you have never met before. Maybe she’s a whore and you’re a john looking for a good time. Maybe she’s a virgin and you’re cheating on your wife. Maybe she’s a spy and you’re a double agent with microfilm hidden up your ass. Whatever gets your juices flowing, that’s what you should pretend.
My ex-girlfriend and I used to have a really hot role play where we acted out a kidnapping fantasy. She’d tell me when she’d be walking through the ally behind her apartment, and I’d walk up behind her with a knife. It was a butter knife, but it didn’t matter. I’d tell her to act natural or I’d shiv her. I’d force her to take me to her apartment. Once we were in there, I’d bind her hands behind her back.
Then the fun would begin.
She loved it because she had always had rape fantasies and control fantasies. I loved it because she would really, really get into it. As soon as you plug yourself fully into the role playing, some interesting things happen. It can become psychologically intense, which heightens the sexual aspect immensely.
