Homoetry is the term used for a genre of literature where the lines of poetry or song lyrics are gay oriented or homoerotic in nature. I know many men out there are probably thinking, ‘wait a minute? Isn’t all poetry gay?’ And you’d be absolutely correct in making that assumption. Poetry is by far the gayest form of literature out there, and it’s also the most male dominated. However, like all things male dominated, women are extremely attracted to it. Recent statistics show that 7 out of 10 women find poets and lyricists sexually attractive. So, next time you’re feeling particularly brave, or just horny, try grabbing a few drinks at a free poetry reading and participating in the open mic. Don’t worry, even if your poem sucks, there is bound to be some bat shit crazy hot chick there whose own poetry is even worse. The other definition of homoetry refers to when people, particularly high school kids and adult frat boys who haven’t gotten past their frat boy glory days, start insulting their same sex enemies by inviting them to suck their cock or give them a hand job. Really, it’s not surprising, because behind any dominant, alpha male bully, is a raging hard-on just waiting for it’s first trip to Europe or next E induced experience at a Rave. It’s literally bursting at the seams.
