A chubby chaser is someone who is attracted to overweight people. Most chubby chasers aren’t really too public about whom they’re attracted to because we live in a society that chastises people who are overweight. There’s the whole ‘obesity epidemic’ that everyone’s obsessed about, which does have to do with basic health, but a lot of it is an image thing. The body trend right now is skinny. A few hundred years ago the trend was overweight, big, hefty. Even fifty years ago the trend was a more voluptuous woman, like Marilyn Monroe as opposed to Twiggy who took America by storm with her tiny skeleton body. The funny thing about these bodily trends is that they seem to coincide with wealth and class. Hundreds of years ago when overweight women were considered the sex and body ideal, this was due to the fact that their weight showed their wealth because they could clearly afford to eat. Nowadays, not only is a person is considered lazy, slothful, and stupid when they’re overweight, they are also often representative of a lower economic class because the food one can afford when one is at the poverty line is often high in starch and fat.
It’s not at all strange that there are plenty of men out there who are into big women. Big women are beautiful, and the ones that know it and feel it are extra gorgeous. They have huge tits and sexy curves and nice big asses and they know how to move and sway their bodies in ways that are incredibly sexy. It makes sense that overweight women would have a plethora of admirers. The funny thing about our society is that we make a person feel ashamed when they desire someone who is overweight. Just as the overweight person has ‘no self-control’ and is ‘unhealthy’, the person who desires them must have ‘unhealthy sexual desires’. Which is really fucked up when you think about it, because what IS so sexy about skelator? About tight skin and collarbones that jut out and hip bones that grind against yours when you’re on top? One of my friends from undergrad was this really skinny guy and he hooked up with an equally skinny chick. Every time I pictured them together I saw sparks flying, and not the good kind. It was the sparks from their bones scraping together. I’m surprised they didn’t’ accidentally light themselves on fire.
