Orgasm.com‘s Ashlee Quinn talks with Alana about video games, porn parodies and dream co-stars.
Ashlee: I noticed that you’re now the Stoned Gamer for High Times, how is that going and is there anything else new going on in your career?
Alana: Yes, I am The Stoned Gamer! Writing video game reviews is a huge passion of mine, so I was very excited to make that deal happen with HighTimes.com. I have been making some really naughty films, working on an upcoming book, and I have also been recording my first solo musical release. I had the great opportunity to sing for Lords of Acid on their last album Deep Chills, so working on a solo project is very exciting for me.
Ashlee: I’m a gamer myself but am more into old school Nintendo games. Are there any new video games that you are really excited for?
Alana: I love retro video games as well. I still have my N64 and my game cube hooked up and ready to play. I play on all consoles including the newest next GEN consoles, and I am a big PC gamer. I love STEAM! I basically always have some sort of video game device in my hand. I am really excited about Elder Scrolls online. Lately I have been playing the new South Park game Stick of Truth, Titanfall, and Assassins Creed IV.
Ashlee: Parodies are huge in the adult industry, and you stared in the first one as Mrs. Brady. If you could star in a porn parody of any video game, which one would it be?
Alana: Who knew Mrs. Brady was a gamer? LOL. I want to start making video game parodies. I am talking to a couple of production companies to see if we can make this happen. Some of my favorite video games would naturally be Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, and Super Mario Brothers, but I think those are the obvious choices. I really want to make a Dead or Alive movie! That will be my first attempt at directing a video game parody.
Ashlee: Social Media is huge these days. What are your thoughts on the effect that social media has had on the adult industry as well as your career?
Alana: Social media has given us the opportunity to reach out to our fans, unlike the past. When I first started in the industry, we had fan clubs that went through the mail. They were a lot of fun, but a lot of work. Social media has really allowed our fans to get to know us. We tweet everything! Because of Twitter, fans not only see our promotions for movies, they watch us fight and act crazy at the same time.
Ashlee: You’ve been in the industry for quite a long time now, is there any scene that you would like to do and haven’t yet? Any pornstar you haven’t shot with that you would like to?
Alana: Because I’ve been in the industry for so many years, I’ve seen a lot of different stars come and go. There are definitely a few that I would love to get into their pants. First I would have to say Tera Patrick. We have been friends for many years but never actually worked together. She is absolutely stunning, and I can be proud to say I was her first onscreen kiss. She used to host a show called Night Calls 411 on Playboy Tv and I was a guest. She kissed me and I loved every minute! I would also love to work with Jessica Drake, Manuel Ferrara, Dana DeArmond,Xander Corvus, and Dani Daniels.
Ashlee: Everyone is talking about it so I have to ask, what are your thoughts on the Belle Knox situation?
Alana: Everyone is talking about it, and I am so excited forMiss Belle Knox. I commend her for her strength, intelligence, and her open mind. I love the fact that she is doing porn to pay for her college education. What better reason, other than raising a family like myself, can you have for getting into the business? She is making an intelligent decision to better herself. She has goals and I think she’s brilliant. I’ve watched her on a few of her television appearances, including The View, and I think she has done an outstanding job. She should milk every bit of fame that this 15 minutes is worth. It doesn’t happen very often to young ladies in our industry, but when they receive this type of positive and negative attention, it’s important to watch how they handle themselves. She is doing an incredible job.
