It’s been a few months now since we first heard about 18 year old Duke University women’s studies major and pornstar, Belle Knox. Back then she was known only as the alias Lauren after a classmate outed her which began what turned into a huge scandal which received tons of media attention. Shortly after the story first broke she revealed her identity and has since become one of the most popular pornstars in the industry right now.

Her new found stardom has landed her a role as the host of new web-based reality TV show, “The Sex Factor,” Seemingly a play on the popular mainstream reality TV show, The X Factor.
Also appearing on the cast stacked with some of the top pornstars in the industry as the shows judges; 2014 AVN award winner for Best Actress, Remy LaCroix, the first pornstar ever to win AVN Female Performer of the Year twice, Tori Black, the only man in the world with his cock insured for a million dollars, Keiran Lee and 2014′s Penthouse Pet of the year, Lexi Belle.

The show, which will start in May, begins with a Twitter casting call that will be located in San Francisco. Sixteen aspiring pornstars, eight guys and eight girls who have never before been filmed will be chosen to compete to be the next big thing in the porn industry and for the cash prize of one million dollars. The winner will be announced at the AVN Awards in Las Vegas on January 24, 2015.

Viewers will also have a say in who stays and who goes by voting on challenges and will even have the opportunity to help choose the names for the prospective future pornstars. Much like in other reality show competitions, the sixteen contestants will slowly be eliminated until only one remains.
