As Canadian born Sunny Leone has eyes on becoming a mainstream actress, many others have their eyes on her, including a photojournalist who wants to create a documentary on the cross over actress.

Sunny Leone is one of the most successful cross over porn actresses to come out of the adult industry in recent years. Over her decade long career in the adult industry glorifying her Punjabi heritage, she was able to gather hundreds of thousands, maybe even millions of fans globally, and sparked a following in the middle east, like no other Desi porn star before her has done.

Her career in the adult industry spans 50+ films, working exclusively in lesbian scenes, or with her husband.  In 2005 Leone slowly started breaking in as a mainstream actress, accepting cameo roles and playing herself in several appearances, finally breaking into a major role in 2008 with the film, Pirates Blood. Due to her growing popularity within the Middle East and Asia she was approached to accept another role in a major Bollywood production after she was cast on a reality television series in India.

Fresh with roles in Bollywood and a fantastic career in the adult industry, many would now like to tell her story including Renowned photojournalist Dilip Mehta, brother of veteran filmmaker Deepa Mehta. Leone’s husband Daniel Weber confirmed:

“Sunny and I have been approached regarding a documentary about our lives and have been in talks with a Canadian production company and Dilip Mehta.”

How far along they are in talks, or when production will begin are still up in the air, but fans of the porn star should be looking forward to the announcement still.
