Hulk Hogan is suing his ex-best friend, Bubba the Love Sponge, for allegedly leaking the sex tape as reported by TMZ news.

Hogan is also suing Gawker Media for putting up a one minute preview of the leaked sex tape of him and Heather Clem, Bubba the Love Sponge’s ex-wife, on their site.

The leaked sex-tape has devastated Hulk Hogan especially when it was revealed that his best friend was the one who leaked it.

However, it seems that Bubba had reasons for taping the sexual tryst between Hogan and his ex-wife (all three parties were fine with Hogan and Clem having sex.) After Hogan is seen exiting the room after the encounter, Bubba comes in and talks with his the wife and says: “If we ever did want to retire, all we’d have to do is use this footage.”

It has also been reported that one of Bubba’s employees leaked the tape. According to Radar Online: “A source close to the situation claims that after Bubba left his gig with Sirius XM Radio, he also left behind an unpaid staff — who he had shared the sex tape with — and one of them took advantage. ‘Even though Bubba knew how much the Hulk sex tape would be worth, he didn’t stab his friend in the back and he’s not the one who released it…’”

Hogan is currently doing interviews including one with Howard Stern talking about the sex tape. Bubba the Love Sponge, however, has been out of the public eye and hasn’t spoken about the incident.
