There’s no doubt about it, the rash of videos and tapes causing sex scandal around the world are a warning to the amateur pornographer. Though it seems like having our sex videos escape might be of a benefit in a certain line of work, indeed one often wonders whether the latest celebrity who sees her amateur fucktape escape onto the web is actually releasing it on purpose to get attention. One has to consider one’s current and future employment, and doubly so if one plans to post them on any kind of website with other adult video. One may be able to disguise one’s identity in some cases, but can one really rely on this? Further, what happens to any images where one’s identity is not diguised? How well do you trust the lover you are with? If one has just met, or even not been together very long it may be difficult to know what could happen, especially in the worst case scenario of a vindictive break up. Some couples agree to keep all recordings in the hands of the lover with the most to lose or the one who is most at risk if they come out. Even then how do we know that every copy is secure?
In the end none of us can completely control what happens with any images or content we put on our computers. Even if our lovers are totally trustworthy there is the possibility of an unscrupulous employee of a shop where we take our machines for repair, or even hackers, taking advantage of us by stealing our data including dirty images we might choose to make.
