The topic of sex in public is one that titillates many people when it comes up. Public sex, or the act of having intercourse or performing sexual acts out in the open has various definitions but the most common is the discreet affair where discovery is possible, but not probable.
Danger with little danger present.

Sex in public parks during late evening or night hours, running a hand under the dress or skirt of a partner while riding a bus or even fucking in one’s own car while on a back road somewhere fills people with excitement. The feel of nature surrounding the naked body in its most primal form is an incredible stimulant for those who partake in sexual pleasures in public.

Mentally, the danger exists because of the fear of getting caught. That fear plus the hormones and adrenaline rushing through the body increase the urgency of climax. For some, sticking it to the Victorian ways set for us by society is a turn on, while others are looking for a way to add a little more spice to their intimacy.

The reason for the increase in erotic stimulation during public sex has to do with blood flow and racing hormones. As the mind becomes aware of all that goes on in the body and around it, the logical part starts to work and up until the point of no return is there an element of danger, ie being caught by an authority figure or discovered by prying eyes. Exhibitionists play off this fear of discovery when they commit lewd acts in public such as masturbation. The risks of being caught for indecent exposure are usually limited to some minor jail time at most and a ticket and fine at best.
