Now that Measure B has been passed and porn actors in Los Angeles are required to wear condoms on all sets in L.A., people in the porn industry are predicting that L.A. will no longer be known as the Porn Capital and that Ventura County could possible be porn’s new home.
As we’ve told you before Measure B requires producers to purchase health permits, pay permit fees and be subject to random Health Department inspections, and requires that actors wear condoms during vaginal or anal sex. On top of it all, a violation of the law could lead to fines and jail time!
It’s no surprise that the porn industry doesn’t want to deal with all that shit, so it might just be easier to up and move it somewhere else; and that’s where Ventura Country comes into play.
Not only does Measure B have the potential to ruin the fantasy of porn for millions of porn viewers, but it has also would put over 10,000 jobs in jeopardy-from actors, directors, editors and makeup artists.
