Question: I have a question regarding pornography usage and browser histories. As a matter of courtesy to my wife (and anyone else who may use our devices), I always clear the browser history on whatever device (computer/iPad) I may have used to view pornography. I’ve always just assumed that she doesn’t want to see “Teen Anal Adventures” or “Lifestyles of the Deep and Fisted” when she logs on to the browser history. However, the other day, she noticed a blank browser history and berated me for “keeping secrets” from her regarding my masturbatory viewings. I thought I was following proper porn etiquette by erasing the browser history. Now I’m not so sure. Your thoughts?
Answer: Well first off I want to start by stating that there is nothing wrong with watching porn, whether male or female. It’s important for me to continually say that aloud so that more and more people hop on the band wagon without being ashamed. Anyway, that’s besides the point. I’m here to answer this question.
If your wife has no problem with you watching porn, then there is no reason for you to be erasing your browser history. But I’m assuming that’s not the case, since you are asking this question. So, let’s just go ahead and assume that your wife hates that you watch porn and to make things easier on her, you clear your browser history so she doesn’t have to actually see what you’re doing, even though deep down inside, she knows exactly what you’re doing. Ultimately you’re just taking her feelings into consideration here!
Now you have found yourself in a lose-lose scenario; you watch porn and you don’t clear your history, you’re caught and in trouble. You watch porn and clear your browser history, you’re in trouble for keeping secrets. The only way you can avoid this situation is if you pretty much stop watching porn, and clearly you’re not going to do that! You’re not that crazy.
As long as your still fulfilling your wife’s sexual desires and you haven’t turned into some crazy porn addict, then you’re doing nothing wrong. Continue to get your jollies off while watching porn and continue to show some etiquette by deleting your browser history, or don’t, either way your not going to win.
